Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She's an American-Mexican actor. She also sings. Sara Ramirez was raised with her American mother. She encountered a number of racial slurs that made her feel unwelcome. In the ninth grade, after a school audition, where she received high praise for her singing and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. It not only increased her confidence, but also her goals changed. At 22, she graduated from New York's Julliard School. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway performance with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail, were her biggest breakthroughs. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot She played The Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. Her fame grew when she appeared in Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is known as a performer and also released a single and an extended play. As an activist, she works tirelessly to promote LGBT equality.
